Cliff is the Founder of the Sewell Recruitment Group who set the company up in 1997 and has grown it to be a leading independent recruitment business across the North of England. Having developed a strong management team, Cliff is still very much a hands on Recruiter. Working with the team across the North, Cliff utilises his extensive contact base in assisting the Venturexec team with client contacts and candidates. Cliff is also starting to develop the Venturexec team in London and the City. Working with long established contacts Cliff works on a range of CFO/FD roles for Private and Blue Chip clients.

A former Accountant and Managing Director of a multi-site business who now has over 24 years experience in specialist recruitment. Steve joined the Sewell Recruitment Group five years ago and takes responsibility for the Venturexec brand. Steve has successfully handled numerous assignments sourcing shortlists for permanent Senior and Director level roles throughout West and North Yorkshire. Specialist areas include, Managing Director, Finance Director, Operations Director, Sales Director and Commercial Director. Steve is also a senior judge for the Yorkshire Finance Director of the Year Awards.

With a background in Business Banking and now over 10 years experience in Interim / Contract recruitment, James joined the Sewell Recruitment Group seven years ago and takes responsibility for all Interim recruitment business. Over the years James has successfully provided Interim solutions covering all disciplines within change management, turnaround / restructuring, programme / project management, business improvement, functional roles, gap management etc for the regions premier Financial Services, Banking, FMCG, Food, Utilities, Telecoms, Manufacturing and Engineering businesses.

With experience of working in a number of multi national financial organisations, resulting in over 25 years experience in recruitment, finance and sales, Andrew now specialises in the recruitment of Executive and senior management positions across all disciplines. Covering the South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire areas, Andrew has recently worked on successful assignments including Finance Directors, Operations Directors, Commercial Managers and Non-Executive roles.

Damien joined the Sewell Recruitment Group 8 years ago working in the South Yorkshire market. Bringing an analytical eye to the recruitment process Damien is able to provide targeted short lists. He specialises in senior and board level roles within Finance, IT and General Management handling campaigns across the South Yorkshire and East Midlands region.

As a senior recruiter with over ten years specialist industry experience Stewart joined the business in 2003 operating in the South Yorkshire market. Stewart now manages recruitment campaigns sourcing for senior permanent and interim positions in the North West. Stewart has been successfully involved in numerous recruitment projects across the North of England including Financial Director and Group Financial Controller roles and is a specialist in senior Finance and Accountancy appointments.
